Athlete Events Place is a versatile sports facility offering a range of activities for enthusiasts, it features courts and gaming areas for Badminton, Billiards, Basketball (Half Court),
Chess, Sepak takraw, Darts, Corn hole, Arnis, Taekwondo, Judo and Table tennis. It was founded on January 8, 2024, by Sir Kim, starting as a small startup with a vision to provide athletes and individuals a space to engage in various sports activities.
He initially had no plans to invest in sports but aimed to progress in his physical condition and promote healthy fitness journey. He identified badminton game is the most accessible sport for young professionals and millennials.
By his experience in Badminton Tournament, where he tried out badminton and met Coach Kean, he found it very inspiring to handle players who were disciplined and dedicated
to be trained for every tournament. He envisioned creating his own badminton facility and asked Coach Kean to assist him in looking for a huge warehouse; and he was willing to be part of it or be a
badminton sports coach. With Coach Kean's help, after 2 weeks of ocular visit from different warehouses in Cavite, they finally found a warehouse located in Brgy. Maguyam, Silang, Cavite in November and began preparations.
Despite the warehouse being stocked for almost three years, they made a major cleaning and renovation sessions. After a month of preparation, Athlete Event Place had its soft opening on February 4, 2024, with a successful badminton tournament attended by nearly 600 players. As time passed, the facility expanded to include Billiards, Darts, Chess, and ongoing other sports like E-Sports.
On March 2, 2024, the first-ever billiard local tournament took place, and followed by Philippine Professionals Tournament on April 13 and 14 same year where professional players brings champion for the country in the second badminton tournament. Since its inception, Athlete Event Place has continuously evolved, adding new sports which are Taekwondo, Basketball (Half Court), Cornhole, Arnis and E-Sports. The success of the facility's establishment is evident, and there are hopes for further growth, including opening branches and becoming recognized among coaches and players.
